Riverfront Broadcasting Sports announces another addition to the Oahe Capitals Broadcasts. This year, Capital City Rock will not only bring you the Capitals Boys Varsity team but also will bring you Capitals Girls Varsity games.
The voice of the Oahe Capitals Jon Winkler will continue to bring broadcasts over the air on your screen on Capital City Rock and on YouTube at Capital City Rock Sports. This season, you will be able to catch half of Girls varsity season including the entire Girls State Tournament for the second straight year. Our first girls varsity broadcast will be on Saturday night, the second game of the season as the Capitals host the Rushmore Thunder. Puck drop is scheduled for 5:00 with coverage beginning at 4:40. Then on Sunday, the Capitals will host the Brookings Rangers at 2:00.
The season will feature two road contests as the Watertown game will be a part of a doubleheader. You’ll be able to catch the final regular season game which is a date with the defending state champions, the Aberdeen Cougars.
