PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The Commission will start off with two items of special business. The first being hosting the five-time champion Pierre Governor football team and the second another update on the city’s efforts to flush the water system to prepare for the drinking water treatment plant next year. Commissioners will consider an Airport Improvement Grant award for Covid operations and will consider personnel policy changes. The Commission will also review 2022 insurance rates and will consider an information technology acceptable use policy. Commissioners will consider a change order on the phase two H-VAC project at the Aquatic Center and will consider a request to surplus city property and sell by sealed bid. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM.
