Friday afternoon, the ESD would release its All-Conference Team as two Pierre Governors received the honor, juniors Ayvrie Kaiser and Lily Sanchez.
The duo would help lead the Governors to a 6-2 ESD record which was second best in the conference behind only Brandon Valley. Sanchez is one of two setter’s used in rotation for Pierre while Kaiser is the go-to hitter for the Governors night in and night out. Pierre ran to a 15-5 record and its first state tournament appearance since 2016.
