Colton Collins made his name known well before the beginning of the 2021 season, but made sure nobody would forget it as he ran his way to being named Co-Offensive MVP of the Western Great Plains All-Conference Team. He is joined by Burk Blasius of Wall.
In total, five members were selected to this year’s team as Collins is joined by TJ Moran, Jacob Sazue, Isaac Thomas and Trance Wagner on the All-Conference team. Sam McClanahan received an honorable mentioned award. Five of the six members were seniors on the Raiders squad with Wagner returning for his senior season in 2022.
Jones County’s lone representative, Slade Benedict was selected to the All-Conference team with Matthew Birkeland as an honorable mention.
The Wall Eagles won the conference going 6-0 while the Raiders finished at 5-1. You can see a full list of the All-Conference Team below.
