Farrar was carried from the Capitol by the arms of a South Dakota Highway Patrol and South Dakota National Guard honor guard to a 21 volley salute as the flag over his casket was folded and presented to family. A funeral is planned at the Britton-Hecla High School on Saturday with burial in the Britton Cemetery.
