PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. A proclamation will be made in special business for Buddy Poppy day before Commissioners consider approval of a five-item consent calendar. A public hearing will be held at 5:45 pm for a Community Development Block Grant for a project for Missouri Shores and possible construction of a new facility. Two resolutions are a part of that consideration. The Commission will consider a street closure request for South Dakota Boulevard on November 8th from seven to ten AM and a parade route request for the 2021 Parade of Lights. Commissioners will consider a request to purchase a plow truck for the Street Departrment, two plat requests and the Thanksgiving holiday office schedule will be announced. The meeting will end with Commissioners presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM.
