Public Utilities Commission Approves Schedule For North Bend Wind Farm Application

PIERRE — The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission made quick work of an agenda item Thursday connected to a proposed wind farm on the Hughes/Hyde County border. P-U-C Staff Attorney Amanda Reiss says Staff added to the docket on the project a proposed schedule of the proceedings needed to move the application for the North Bend Wind project forward….

The two page motion outlining the hearing dates and deadlines for the project up to was added to Docket E-L-21 dash oh-18 on October 18th. Commission Chair Chris Nelson appreciated the efforts of P-U-C Staff in putting the schedule together…

The first in the schedule is November 1st of this year for Supplemental Testimony from the North Bend to be filed. Staff and Intervenor testimony is due by December 6th. Rebuttal testimony is due to the P-U-C by December 20th. Final discovery for all parties must be in by January 3rd with responses to that discovery due by January 18th. Witness and exhibit lists are due by January 24th and a hearing on evidence in the application is scheduled for February 24th.
