The Lyman Raiders were down 18-0 to the Timber Lake Panthers, came back to tie it at 18-18 but the Panthers were able to escape with a touchdown in the final seconds to beat the Raiders 24-18 in the 9AA quarterfinals.
The Lyman Raiders did everything they could to keep its season alive on Thursday night, coming back from an 18-0 deficit to tie the game up with just 19 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. However, the Panthers would break the Raiders heart scoring a touchdown with just five seconds remaining in the game to win 24-18. Kendrick Martin hit Hank Kraft for a 43 yard passing score to beat the Raiders. Colton Collins scored twice for the Raiders, once through the air and another on the ground.
Timber Lake will host Platte-Geddes next Friday after they upset the top seed Hanson to reach the semifinal.
