The Pierre Governor Cheer and Dance team is at the state championship meet in Brandon on Saturday as the Governors look for a strong finish to the year.
The Governors cheer team will practice Saturday morning at 7:45 AM with the dance team getting time to practice at 9:36. The event begins at 11:05 with the national anthem and it will be followed by Brookings starting the state tournament at 11:15. Pierre’s cheer team will have its turn at 11:59 AM. The Governor dance team will perform in the Pom division first at 1:03 and then finish the competition with the hip-hop division an hour later at 2:09.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to begin at 3:30 PM.
