Governor Volleyball Makes Quick Work of Douglas

The Pierre Governors used several key runs on Friday night at Riggs High School sweeping the Douglas Patriots with scores of 25-8, 25-14 and 25-11.

The Governors scored 14 of the last 15 points in the first set and 15 of the last 16 in the third set for a resounding win that took just under an hour of total game time with a sweep. Pierre improves to 14-4 on the season while Douglas falls to 7-18. Pierre had just one ace in Tuesday’s loss, but finished with 10 aces in the win on Friday. Ayvrie Kaiser led the way in kills for Pierre with 11, Makenna Schlekeway had six and Reese Terwilliger finished with four.
