The Stanley County Buffaloes looked to hang close with the Lyman Raiders through the first quarter but the Raiders couldn’t be stopped all night and didn’t all the Buffalo offense to get moving as Lyman shutout Stanley County 30-0.
The Raiders, as the four seed, move onto the second round of the playoffs with a resounding win and picking up its third straight shutout. Lyman didn’t score its first touchdown until late in the first quarter. Unfortunately for the Buffs, the offense couldn’t find any footing being held off the scoreboard.
The Raiders will now play Timber Lake on Thursday in the quarterfinal matchup. The Panthers beat Leola/Frederick Area 14-8.
