PIERRE — Fundraising continues for Pierre’s new outdoor municipal pool project. A fundraising event is taking place this Saturday in Pierre at the Ramkota Conference Center. The Capital Campaign is tasked with raising approximately three million dollars for the pool while the City of Pierre last August restructured financing for the pool to provide around 10-million of the 13-million dollar cost. No new tax dollars are being utilized to build the pool which is currently under construction with dirt work in Griffin Park.
