The Sully Buttes Chargers fell in its final road match of the season narrowly falling to the Herreid/Selby Area Wolverines on Tuesday. Final scores 26-24, 27-25, 16-25 and 25-14.
The Chargers were close to sweeping the Wolverines by taking them to extra points in the first two sets. A couple of different swings and the Chargers would have left with a three set win. However, it was not the case and now the Chargers will be looking to finish the season strong with a win over Hitchcock-Tulare on Friday at home. The Chargers are now 8-19 on the year and look to be locked into the seven seed in the Region 2B tournament. Herreid/Selby Area moves to 11-12 and moved up to five seed in the 2B standings with two games left to play.
