Pierre Volleyball Hosts Huron for Second Matchup in 12 Days

The Pierre Governor Volleyball team is seeing a foe they know all too well, but this time it’s not even two weeks between matches. Tonight, the Huron Tigers are in town for the second contest in 12 days.

The Governors won the first contest with a straight sweep on the road, and will look for a home victory against a team still trying to secure a spot for a home SoDak 16 playoff game less than a month away. The Governors won three close sets 25-20, 25-19 and 25-23 for the sweep. Pierre will be looking for the home court advantage on Tuesday for its 14th win of the season. Pierre remains at No. 3 in the AA standings.

First serve is scheduled for 7:00 with pregame to begin at 6:40 on KCCR, kccrradio.com and on YouTube at KCCR Sports with Jon Winkler on the call.
