The Stanley County Buffaloes finished the season with back-to-back 50 point wins and its first shutout of the season as the Buffs would rout the Dupree Tigers 50-0.
The Buffs made quick work of the lesser Tigers as Stanley County has now won four straight games and are over .500 for the first time all season. Just in time for the playoffs. Stanley County will have to be road warriors in the playoffs as they are the 13 seed in Class 9AA.
Stanley County’s first round opponent is Lyman. The Raiders are 7-1, one of five teams in 9AA with one loss. The game will be played down in Presho on Thursday night. You can hear from Max Foth on Coach’s Corner, this Wednesday, live from the Longbranch. Coach’s Corner is from 5:30-6:30.
