In a game that was 8-0 after the first quarter, the Sully Buttes Chargers couldn’t make any progress offensively, and turned the ball over to a veteran Potter County squad, and the Battlers took advantage, and finished Friday afternoon with a 50-0 victory over Sully Buttes to end the regular season.
The Chargers were outgained 313 to 95, behind the play of quarterback Grant Luikens, who ran and passed Potter County to a 7-2 season mark, and a home game Thursday in the first round of the playoffs.
Sully Buttes falls to 4-4, and will be on the road to take on Alcester Hudson in the 8-9 matchup on Thursday. Potter County will host Jones County in 3-14 matchup.
