After Tuesday’s win, the Sully Buttes Chargers will look to keep the momentum rolling with hosting the top team in Region 6A, Mobridge-Pollock in its Pink Night.
The Chargers won a five set match on the road against a good Stanley County volleyball team in a wild and exciting match. Sully Buttes has had a tough strength of schedule in the last several weeks but it paid off on Tuesday and will be looking to continue to pay-off against another tough opponent and are in a rematch with Mobridge-Pollock. The Tigers, though, at 17-5 are coming in having lost three of the last five matches with its latest loss to a near .500 Redfield team. The Tigers swept the Chargers in two sets back in September at the CSDC tournament.
DT Meyer will have the call of the varsity match in the Pink night. There will be a fundraiser for cancer research throughout the night. Coverage on Country 95.3, pierrecountry.com and on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports will begin around 7:00.
