PIERRE — The Pierre School Board meets this evening at the District Administration building. The Board will consider approval of the agenda and an eight-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Comments from Board members and the public will follow along with a update from the Riggs Student Senate. The Board will give first reading to a revision to the Communicable Infectious Disease policy and final reading to two policies. One is for the administration of medical cannabis to qualifying students and the second is regarding the use of alcohol and other drugs by employees. The Pierre School Board will also consider action on Plan of Intent waivers, donations and contract items. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 PM.
