The Sully Buttes Chargers will play in front of the home faithful for the final time on Friday night as they host the Langford Area Lions. The three senior football players will be recognized before the game.
Dwight Kinney and Jesse and Jordan Schall are the three lone seniors for the Chargers this season. As they will lead the way looking for a last home game win and to put the Chargers back over .500 as they sit at 3-3. Sully Buttes will be without its quarterback, Landon Hepker as he had a season ending injury last week. Thomas Farries will handle the quarterback duties for the Chargers with just two games left in the season.
The Lions are at 1-5 and are in 14th place in the 9B standings. Langford Area’s only win was a 30 point roll over Waverly-South Shore. The Lions offense has been able to produce averaging around 21 points per game, but the defense has been allowing 43.5 points per game.
