It’s a second straight loss for the Pierre Governor volleyball team as they dropped a four set decision to Brandon Valley 19-25, 25-17, 25-15 and 25-22.
It’s only the first time the Governors were dropped at home this season and were nearly about to take control of the second set. It was 16-16 but the Lynx would score the next eight in a row and finished out the set scoring nine out of 10 to tie the sets 1-1. Brandon Valley improves to 12-6 on the season and have beaten O’Gorman and Pierre within the last two Saturdays, the number two and three teams in Class AA.
The Governors will regroup, now at 9-3, for two road matches on Tuesday and Thursday in Aberdeen and Huron. First serve is at 7:00 on Tuesday in Aberdeen
