Chargers Mauled by Wolverines 56-6 Friday Night in Herreid

The Sully Buttes Chargers came off of a nearly three week layoff of game action, and were pushed into the deep end against a very talented Herreid Selby Area Wolverine team, and fell 56-6.

The Chargers came in with different starters in a few spots, but it made little difference, as HSA cranked up its no-huddle high powered offense, and out distanced Sully Buttes offensively by 532 total yards, to Sully Buttes’ 55 on the ground and through the air.

The score was 40-6 at halftime, and when the second half started, the continuous clock was already enacted, and the Wolverines scored twice in the third quarter to end the game, and celebrate a Herreid Homecoming week.

The Wolverines are now 7-0 on the season, and face 6-1 Potter County in Herreid Friday night, while the 3-3 Chargers will host 1-5 Langford Area.  It will also be Senior Night for the Chargers, the last home game of the regular season.
