Governors Route Huron on Homecoming behind Kienholz Historic Night

The Pierre Governors went 8-8 scoring a touchdown in its in first drives of the game and led 61-7 at halftime and would end with a 61-7 win.

Lincoln Kienholz is the new single game record holder in Pierre Governor history as he unofficially threw for 394 yards on 16-25 passing and had eight touchdown throws on the evening. Jack Merkwan had four touchdown grabs on six receptions for 212 yards. Kade Kaiser, Matt Hanson, Brock Moser and Trey Lewis all had touchdown receptions for the Governors in the teams fifth straight win, now 5-1. Gavin Stotts recovered a fumble and Chase Carda picked up two lose balls defensively as the Governor defense forced three, three and outs to open up the game as they stymied the Huron offense.
