Pierre City Commission Approves Fireworks Display For Pierre High School Homecoming

PIERRE — The Pierre Governors are looking to bring the boom both on the field and in the skies over Hollister Field Friday night. Pierre Fire Chief Ian Paul says the request is similar to previous years…

Pierre School District Athletic Director Brian Moser says homecoming week is special for him…

Moser says homecoming is about more than just the Pierre School District…

Moser says one benefit from changes made due to Covid-19 was moving the burning of the letters to during the fireworks display, which allowed more people to watch last year. The fireworks are paid for by many of the booster club tailgates that take place before football games.
