Stanley County Football Hosts White River on Homecoming Night

It’s Homecoming week for the Stanley County Buffaloes and it concludes with the football game, tonight against the winless White River Tigers at Ole Williamson Field.

The Buffaloes are looking for its second win of the season after a loss to Potter County at home last Friday, sitting at 1-4 on the season. The two teams are sitting right around the final playoff spots and a win is much needed for both teams to get into the playoffs. The Tiger defense is giving up an average of 46.5 points per game, but has had a tough schedule with every time either 3-1 or 2-1 on the year. The Buffaloes will be looking to exploit the Tiger defense. While Stanley County has not had an easy stretch to begin the season by any means, head coach Max Foth is not letting it be an excuse…

Foth says they continually look ahead…

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 for the homecoming game at Ole Williamson Field in Ft. Pierre.
