The Pierre Governors have picked up its best win of the season to date with a sweep of the Lincoln Patriots by the final of 25-17, 25-23 and 25-22.
The Governors improve to 8-1 on the season and get 50 seed points for the win after dropping the Patriots to now 9-2 on the year. The Patriots, who lost in five sets to Washington while the Governors were swept, only had the lead in the second set while the Governors kept distance in the first and third sets. It was also Pierre’s last match before a 10 day break until its next match.
Pierre will travel to Rapid City Christian on Tuesday, September 28 to face a Christian team currently undefeated. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 Central time.
