Pierre Soccer Faces Brookings on the Road

It’s the final road matchup of the season for the Pierre Governor soccer teams as they travel to Brookings in two must win games for both the boys and girls.

The Governors will be looking for a win against the Bobcat teams which are both on the bottom half of the standings. The Governor boys will look to keep the offense rolling against a team at 2-6-1 and averaging two goals allowed per game. The Governors are averaging almost three and half goals per game. The Governor girls will look to end a small two game losing streak as the last four matches of the season are against teams all on the bottom half of the standings. Pierre sits tied for fourth with the Harrisburg Tigers. Pierre will need to win all four remaining games to try and keep pace to be a top four teams, especially with the seed points up for grabs against the remaining opponents. A loss will surely knock them out of the top four.

The boys will play first at 4:00 with the girls game to follow in Brookings.
