The Stanley County Volleyball team was able to defeat Cheyenne-Eagle Butte in straight sets on Saturday in Mobridge but fell to both Mobridge-Pollock and Ipswich finishing 1-2 in the tournament.
Stanley County is now 4-5 on the year after the tournament as the two losses came against an undefeated Mobridge-Pollock team and a 7-2 Ipswich squad. The Lady Buffs sit in third place in the 6A standings after the weekends contest.
The Lady Buffs will host the Jones County Coyotes on Thursday. JV will begin at 6:30 with the varsity to follow.
