The Pierre Governors are now 7-0 after a sweep on Saturday of the Spearfish Spartans with 25-11, 25-16 and 25-13 sweep.
Pierre did not allow the Spartans to get any momentum all afternoon, which was contrary to the Sturgis game. The Govs didn’t want to let the Spartans hang around in any of the three sets. Ayvrie Kaiser again had double digit kills for the Governors who will now await the Washington Warriors on Thursday and what could be a battle of the unbeatens. Washington will play Yankton on Tuesday.
