Tonight the Sully Buttes Chargers and Stanley County Buffaloes renew its rivalry on the gridiron. Over the last several years the Buffs have been in 11B, but now as they return to 9-man football, the Chargers and Buffs face off in Sully Buttes homecoming game.
The Chargers are at 2-1 on the season after falling to 9AA opponent Lyman, last week. The Chargers were worn down in the second half for the score to finish at 44-6. The Chargers will have another tough test against a senior heavy Buffalo squad.
The Buffaloes are still in search of its first win of the season after dropping a heartbreaker last Friday afternoon to Bon Homme, 21-18. Stanley County sits at 0-3 but without a bye this season, the Buffaloes will still have five games to play even after Friday night’s game.
