Hayden Shaffer was the top finisher not just for the Pierre Governors, but the entire boys varsity race, taking first in Aberdeen with a time of 16:30, nine seconds ahead of second place.
Jared Lutmer was not far behind Shaffer as he finished in fourth place for the Governors at a time with 17:03, while Blake Judson was the third Gov to finish inside the top ten, in eighth place with a time of 17:32.
Jazzlyn Rombough had the best finish for the Governors on the girls run, at 12th place with a time of 22:15. Teammate Autumn Iverson was not far behind in 14th at a time of 22:24.
