FORT PIERRE — The Stanley County Commission is meeting tonight at the Stanley County Courthouse. Commissioners will discuss the County Veteran’s Office and a provisional county budget. The Commission will also discuss a 2022 motor grader and will meet with Highway Superintendent Lee Smith regarding a new hire and a blow dirt policy. Fairgrounds Manager Scott Deal will meet with Commissioners to talk about the 4-H Finals, square tubing, a pick-up, a full-time maintenance employee, facility fees and gutters for Barn B. The Commission will consider adding a Deputy Register of Deeds to Register of Deed bank accounts, an abatement, a WIC contract amendment and a contract for the County Health Nurse. Other agenda items include an operating transfer for the road and bridge budget, a resolution for contingency transfers and an executive session for personnel. The Stanley County Commission meets tonight at five PM.
