PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider bid results for a pump station and irrigation project for Griffin Park and the plat of lot 1-R in the Capitol Addition. Three public hearings are on the agenda. Two are for conditional use permits. The third is for the rezoning of Lot One in Schimkat’s First Addition. Commissioners will consider parade routes for the Riggs Homecoming and for the South Dakota Education Equality Coalition. The Commission will consider an extension of a Snow Plow Joint Powers agreement with the South Dakota Department of Transportation and will hear about the River Road storm sewer rehabilitation project. Commissioners will also introduce the plat and plans for Farm Island View Estates, consider a request to surplus property and will give first reading to the 2022 budget ordinance. The Pierre City Commission meets at 5:30 pm.
