The Stanley County Buffaloes have not been able to get off the start they were hoping to have. The Buffaloes dropped to 0-3 after a 21-18 loss to Bon Homme on Friday afternoon.
Stanley County opened up the game with a 12-0 advantage and had a 12-8 lead at the half against the Cavaliers, but it was quickly erased by two scores from Bon Homme in the third quarter trailing 21-12 into the final quarter of play. The Buffs were able to pull within three at 21-18 and had the opportunity to win the game with a final play but was sacked and couldn’t get a throw off to the end zone.
Stanley County will now look to pick up that elusive first win on Friday in Onida against 9B opponent and rival, Sully Buttes Chargers.
