The Sully Buttes Chargers have put up over 80 points in two games so far this season but its toughest test lies ahead on Friday night against the Lyman Raiders.
The Raiders had its bye last Friday but opened the season with a huge win over Lemmon/McIntosh, routing the cowboys 54-8. Colton Collins, 6’2 190 senior running back will be the man to watch for Lyman as he torched the Cowboys in the first game and will be leaned on heavily throughout the season. The Chargers ground game was the reason for success last week totaling 312 of its 318 yards on the ground. Quarterback Landon Hepker and the Chargers receiving core may be looking for more work through the air to defeat the Raiders.
DT Meyer will be in Onida tonight kickoff at 7:00 between the Chargers and Raiders. Coverage will begin at 6:35 on Country 95.3, pierrecountry.com and available to watch on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports.
