Nick Bothun finished in sixth place as the highest Governor finisher on the afternoon on Tuesday in Aberdeen as the golfers placed second as a team, only behind Watertown.
Bothun shot a 74 which was three over par on the day, five shots behind the leaders of Jake Olson of Watertown and Caleb Barse of Tiospa Zina. Sawyer Sonnenschein was seventh at a 75 while Luke Olson was at 76, with all three finishing inside the top 10. Jonathon Lyons would round out the top four for Pierre with a ten over par, 81 which put him at 15.
As a team Pierre shot a 306, 22 over par while the Arrows, winning the event, shot a plust-14, 298 on the day.
The Governors will be in Yankton next, on Friday, September 10, which will tee off at 10:00 AM
