Cole Peterson and Jenna Gehring are this week’s PACA-Avera’s Athletes of the Week!
Cole Peterson (Soccer): As senior and co-captain of the boys soccer team, Peterson has provided exceptional leadership and dedication to start the 2021 season. In the first 3 games, Peterson has scored in every one totaling 6 goals. His level of play and positive example on and off the field has helped the soccer team to a 2-1 start.
Jenna Gehring (Soccer): Jenna Gehring had a fantastic game against Sioux Falls Roosevelt coming up with 14 total saves. She was huge in the final moments of the game when Roosevelt was blasting shot after shot and Gehring was able to block them all.
