Stanley County Football Hosts Parkston for First Home Game

The Stanley County Buffaloes will be at home tonight to take on Parkston looking for the first win of the season. The Trojans will also be looking for its first win of the year.

As Stanley County Head Coach Max Foth put it on Coach’s Corner live at the Longbranch on Wednesday, the first game of the season snowballed on them in the 40-0 Timber Lake loss. However, it’s not unfamiliar territory for the Buffs. Last year, Stanley County opened the season in a tough loss to the Winner Warriors but won five of the next six games and the message this year is the same. Continuing to get better each week and it starts with Parkston. The Trojans lost 24-16 last week after being tied 8-8 at halftime.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 at Ole Williamson Field as the Buffaloes compete in front of the home faithful in Ft. Pierre.
