PIERRE — Pierre police have made an arrest in connection to the burglary of televisions from a Pierre hotel. Pierre Police Captain Bryan Walz says 30 year-old Dustin Witt of Rosebud was arrested for Burglary and two counts of Petty Theft. Officers were called to the 400 block of West Sioux Avenue around 7:45 am Wednesday morning after a hotel staff member reported the thefts. Police learned that two televisions were taken from two separate guess rooms at some time Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Investigating officers were able to identify Witt as a suspect in the thefts. Witt was transported and is currently being held in the Hughes County Jail.
