Nielson excited to see progression of young Coyote signal caller

VERMILLION, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — South Dakota’s Carson Camp became the first true freshman in Coyote recorded history to start a season opener at quarterback.  Even though his season was only four games long this spring due to COVID, he was ranked in the top-20 nationally in passing yards per game and was the second-leading passer in the Valley in terms of yards per game.

Coach Bob Nielson is excited to see the progression of his young quarterback coming into fall camp…

Due to NCAA rules related to the pandemic, the Yotes will have a deeper roster this season…

The Coyotes open the season at Kansas on September 3rd.
