The Expedition League finished up the regular season over the last week. Some teams, like the Pierre Trappers finished before the rest of the league, but nonetheless, the playoffs begin on Monday in the best of three series in the Clark and Lewis Division.
The Spearfish Sasquatch will be looking for a championship run as they host the Western Nebraska Pioneers in the first game of the series. The set will move to Gering, Nebraska on Tuesday and the “if necessary” game will be played on Wednesday with the Pioneers being the home team.
Out of Lewis Division, the league’s best team, the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs will travel to Dickinson, North Dakota to face the Badlands Big Sticks in the first game of the series before heading to Minot, where the Sabre Dogs will host game two and three on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Sabre Dogs won the division twice in both the first half and second half of the year. They finished with the best record in all of the Expedition League by a game overall Spearfish.
The Sasquatch and Pioneers have first pitch scheduled for 7:35 Central Time while the Big Sticks and Sabre Dogs have first pitch at 8:05 Central Time.
