FORT PIERRE — Stanley County Commissioners are holding their monthly meeting tonight. Commissioners will discuss the courthouse’s HVAC system with Rick Striker and will discuss the 2022 budget. Fairgrounds Manager Scott Deal will discuss a number of items with Commissioners including two rodeos, a fence project, a pickup, gutters for the Schomer Barn, a loader, iron for panels and a full time maintenance employee. Highway Superintendent Lee Smith will discuss lighting in the county shop, a Plum Creek bridge update and waste tire disposal. Commissioners will discuss two items with the South Dakota Department of Transportation, a payment in lieu of taxes, the sidewalk near the log cabin, an automatic budget supplement and surplussing office equipment. The Stanley County Commission is also scheduled to meet in executive session for personnel. The Stanley County Commission meets tonight at five-PM.
