PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The meeting will start in special business with a proclamation for professional engineer’s day. A public hearing will be held for a temporary on/off sale malt beverage license for the Oahe Days raffle prize pick-up at 5:45 pm. Commissioners will consider awarding bids for a water main extension project, 2022 electric materials and city surplus for sale. New business includes the introduction of a conditional use permit for Dakota Storm Roofing and setting a public hearing on the request. Commissioners will consider a change order on the city’s 2021 curb and gutter project and 2022 budget presentations will begin with presentations from Capital Area Counseling, the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area and the South Dakota Discovery Center. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM. The meeting is open to the public.
