Pierre Swim Team Strong in SD Long Course A Championship

The Pierre Swim Team had 16 swimmers competing the 2021 SD Long Course A Championship meet in Brookings over the past weekend.

In the Girls 9-10 Division:

Aubrey Chamberlin: 50 breaststroke-6^th, 100 breaststroke-6^th & 200 free-13th

In the Girls 13-14 Division:

Amara Dell: 200 back-9^th, 200 breaststroke-10^th, 100 back-11^th, 100 breaststroke-11^th, 50 free-15^th, 200 free-17^th & 200 IM-18th

Aliya Erickson: 200 back-17th

In the Girls 15-16 Division::

Kendra Rounds: 800 free-14^th, 100 back-15^th & 400 free-19th
Michelle Weiss: 200 free-1^st, 1500 free-1^st, 100 free-2^nd, 400 free-2^nd, 50 free-3^rd & 200 IM-6^th.

In the Girls 17-19 Division:

Katelynn Axtell: 200 back-9^th, 200 breaststroke-9^th, 100 back-10^th, 100 breaststroke-12^th & 200 IM-16^th
Morgan Nelson: 100 breaststroke-1^st, 200 breaststroke-5^th, 200 IM-11^th, 50 free-13^th & 100 free-15^th
Ella Ward-Zeller: 100 back-1^st, 200 back-2^nd, 200 IM-3^rd, 400 IM-3^rd, 50 free-7^th & 100 free-11th

In the Boys 9-10 Division:

Finley Ellwein: 100 free-4^th, 200 free-4^th, 50 back-5^th, 100 back-5^th, 200 IM-5^th, 50 free-5^th & 50 fly-6^th.
Trey Linn: 50 breaststroke-3^rd, 100 breaststroke-3^rd, 200 IM-11^th,200 free-12^th, 50 back-14^th, 100 back-15^th& 100 free-19th
Matthew Maritz: 50 back-12^th, 50 breaststroke-13^th, 100 back-13^th, 50 free-13^th & 100 free-16^th
Bennett Pankratz: 100 free-7^th, 200 free-8^th, 50 back-10^th & 100 back-10th

In the Boys 11-12 Division:

Caleb Hutton: 50 free-6^th, 100 back-6^th, 50 back-7th, 100 free-7^th & 50 fly-11th

In the Boys 13-14 Division:

Colton Cass: 1500 free-7^th, 800 free-11^th & 400 free-17^th.

In the Boys 15-16 Division:

Mason Dell: 200 breaststroke-3^rd, 50 free-5^th, 100 breaststroke-6^th, 200 free-13^th, 200 IM-13^th & 400 free-14^th
David Stagg: 100 free-10^th, 100 breaststroke-11^th, 100 fly-12^th, 100 back-14^th & 200 free-20^th

Taking 1^st place in the Relays was the 9-10 200 free Relay team! (Finley Ellwein, Matthew Maritz, Trey Linn & Bennett Pankratz)

The Boys 9-10 200 Medley Relay team placed 2^nd!

The Girls 15-19 Relay teams included: Ella Ward-Zeller, Katelynn Axtell, Morgan Nelson & Michelle Weiss. They placed 3^rd overall in both the 200 Medley relay & the 400 Medley Relay.
