This weekend at Hyde Stadium, the Pierre Post 8 Jr. Legion team will begin its quest for a state title as the host team for the 2021 Jr. Legion state tournament.
The Eights will open up the tournament against Sioux Falls West in the final game of day one. The Jr. Legion is 20-14 on the season, finishing out the season with a doubleheader sweep of the Post 22 Bullets. The Eights did not have to qualify for the state tournament as the host team this season and they were able to take a much needed weekend off for rest.
The third game of the day is scheduled for 5:30 with the Post 8 matchup to follow 30 minutes following Sioux Falls East and Aberdeen.
