Pierre Post 8 would ten run rule Yankton in game one of the Region Round with a 10-0 win behind four RBIs from Bennett Dean.
Dean opened up the scoring with a two run home run in the bottom of the second which plated six runs in total for Pierre. Lincoln Kienholz had an RBI single and Maguire Raske would reach on a four base error on a fly ball to right field to have the Eights up 8-0 after the second. Jack Van Camp was dominant on the mound as he threw a complete game one hit shutout, striking out six for his team leading fifth win of the season. Dean would finish the game off with a two-run single in the bottom of the sixth.
