The Capital City Baseball Association 12U All Stars played in Valley Springs over the weekend and have qualified for the Rapid City State Tournament in Two Weeks.
Friday night, the All Stars lost to Brandon Valley 4-0 to open up the weekend and after Saturday’s games were rained out, the Capital City ballplayers had limited work to try and qualify. Yet, they came through and pounded Huron 11-4 and had to face Brandon Valley looking for revenge in the elimination game. The All Stars did just that, winning 3-0 and will now play in the Rapid City state tournament in two weeks, over the weekend of July 23.
Members of the Capital City Baseball 12U All Star team is Carter Schiefelbein, Sutton Sonnenschein, Ryker Edson, Porter Hunsley, Bruce Whalman, Tate Stoeser, Jackson Goodman, Tayson Steele, Jarron Deal, Ashton Johnson, Jagger Gardner, Jett Yackley and Carter Templeton.
