After picking up the first win of the second half of the season, the Pierre Trappers will host the team that won their division for a three game set, the Western Nebraska Pioneers.
The Pioneers won the first half with a record of 23-8 and have opened up the second half of the season with a 2-1 record. The Trappers are 1-3 and are currently two games back of the Fremont Moo in the Clark Division. Pierre is currently in the midst of an eight game home stand and Trappers manager, Monterio May, says this is a huge stretch…
May says with the second half underway, it’s a clean slate for the Trappers…
And May says it again starts with strike one…
The Trappers and Pioneers will play all three games of the series with first pitch at 7:05 beginning on Tuesday.
