Pierre Post 8 took an early lead in a 9-4 victory over Harrisburg for win number 20 on the season in the final home game of the regular season.
Andy Gordon had a two RBI single in the bottom of the first to give Pierre a 2-1 lead and after Harrisburg tied the game 2-2 in the top of the third, the Eights used a four run inning including a two RBI single for Bennett Dean to give Pierre the lead for good. Dean would pick up the win on the mound as four pitchers threw in the game to keep the Eights pitching available for a doubleheader on Wednesday against Sioux Falls West.
