A walk-off double in the bottom of the tenth began the second half of the season for the Pierre Trappers in a game in which they led heading into the bottom half of the innings as the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs completed the sweep with a 6-5 win.
The Trappers built a two run lead heading into the bottom of the ninth but a two run shot by Drew Miller tied the game at four and sent the ballgame into extras. Braeden Cordes was able to score in the top of the ninth but a one out balk brought home the tying run in the bottom of the inning and then a double from Gunnar Magrann scored the winning run finishing off the sweep of the Trappers and began the second half of the year with a heart breaking loss for Pierre. The Sabre Dogs won the Lewis division at 22-9 while the Trappers finished 9-20 and were 12 and half games back of Clark division winner, Western Nebraska.
