While the Pierre Jr. Shooters are gearing up for the weekend tournament in Ft. Pierre, the team had plenty of success this past weekend in Ohio.
The Jr. Shooters traveled out to Camp Perry, Ohio for the National 3PAR Olympic Championship and the CMP National 3PAR Championship. Sean Kruger, coach of the Pierre Jr. Shooters says it was a successful weekend.
The individual, Justin Merriman finished in third place in the Junior Olympic and eighth in the three-position air rifle championships. While Kruger says the Jr. Shooters were turning heads at the tournament, he wasn’t surprised…
And Kruger jokes he’s not even sure the kids know just how good they are…
